About the event
We are excited for the second Fraser Coast Virtual Business & Tourism Expo in October 2023. Virtual business promotion and engagement are the way of the future and Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce is happy to lead the way into this exciting new world. We are happy to have this expo to help with our members and guests negotiate this new way of connecting and we aim to provide you with the tools, support and opportunities you need to lean in and gain success in the virtual business experience.
Promote your business and discover others, with flexibility to attend sessions across the days, as it suits you. The Fraser Coast Virtual Business & Tourism Expo on October 19th & 20th is designed to enable ALL attendees and Booth Holders to make immediate connections with other businesses, potential customers and professionals.
Thursday 19th October – Virtual Networking event
The expo will launch on the Thursday night with our virtual networking event. Bring your wine or beer along and get chatting with other attendees. After live streamed introductions from our President and from our major sponsor, attendees can then join the networking room and connect with one another via text or live video for informal chats. This is a great opportunity to network with other local businesses and professional colleagues before the Fraser Coast Virtual Business & Tourism Expo commences.
We will have specific topics to discuss as a group.
Friday 20th October – Fraser Coast Virtual Business & Tourism Expo
The Fraser Coast Virtual Business & Tourism Expo will run in two sessions – morning and afternoon.
Four keynote speakers will talk at specific times throughout the day.
Program:
Thursday 19th October: Opening Welcome and Virtual Networking
- 5:30pm – Welcome from HBCC President
- 5:40pm – Welcome from Sponsor
- 6:00 – 7:30pm – Networking Room
Friday 20th October: Fraser Coast Virtual Business & Tourism Expo
- 9:00 am – HBCC President Welcome (10min)
- 9:15 am – Major Sponsor Welcome (10 min)
- 9:30 am – Speaker (1 hour)
- 11:00am – Speaker (1 hour)
- 12:00pm – Lunch Break – explore and engage with exhibitors
- 1:00pm – Speaker (1 hour)
- 3:00pm – Speaker (1 hour)
Visitors will be able to watch and listen to the speakers online in the virtual auditorium.
Fraser Coast Virtual Business & Tourism Expo will also have a virtual exhibition hall where visitors can visit the booths and talk to the businesses they are interested in.
In addition, we will have a virtual networking lounge where visitors can chat to one another and network at any time during the expo.
